University of Kent International Scholarships deadline: 31 May 2016

As the deadline to apply for a scholarship at the University of Kent is fast approaching, there are only two weeks left to be exact, we thought you would like to know more about this very appealing option before you make a decision.

The University of Kent has always been a welcoming institution for international students and this year is no different as they are offering a number of available scholarships for both the undergraduate and postgraduate categories, each values at £5,000 towards the cost of tuition fees and are offered to nationals of any country paying overseas fees.

 

To be in for a chance of obtaining one of these scholarships, applicants must have met all of the following criteria:

  1. An application must have been made for a degree course at the applicant's respective level (undergraduate or postgraduate) at the University of Kent.
  2. The applicant must have received an offer of a place (conditional or unconditional) on a degree course.
  3. The University must have received confirmation of the applicant's firm acceptance of the offer by the deadline date, which is 31 May 2016. Bear in mind that those who select the University as their insurance place will not be eligible for the scholarship.

All of these conditions apply to both levels of study so be sure you meet all of them before making the application. Also, please note that these scholarships are open only to new students who satisfy the above criteria, current students are excluded from both categories.

 

To apply for the International Scholarship, log on to your applicant portal and select My Scholarships and Bursaries, which will show you a list of scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for. Once you have received an offer, the International Scholarship will become available for you.  Click on Apply and follow the steps to complete your application, which includes submission of an essay in either Word or PDF format. The essay should be no longer than 750 words, on a topic you are passionate about that is relevant to the degree programme you have chosen.
